Ariana filed for divorce on September 18, with Dalton also submitting his paperwork on the same day, citing 'irreconcilable differences' and stating February 20, 2023, as their date of separation, according to previously obtained documents by TMZ.


Ariana's attorney, Laura Wasser, cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their divorce, and the separation was noted as February 20, 2023. Insiders revealed that the couple settled everything amicably before formally heading to court, with Ariana planning to provide Dalton with a settlement check. Despite filing for divorce months after the separation date, they did so to carefully address and resolve all necessary details. Sources emphasized the lack of animosity between Ariana and Gomez, highlighting their respectful and caring approach throughout the entire process.
